CRee and CLee

Caroline Reese and Charlotte Lee were born 364 days apart! It is hard for me to believe that in a few weeks we will be celebrating Charlotte's first birthday and Caroline's 2nd birthday! It feels like yesterday that I was at the hospital waiting on Charlotte's arrival and then the next day celebrating Caroline's first birthday. I am so thankful that Caroline and Charlotte will get to grow up together and be best friends just like their Moms!

Fun in Oxford!

This weekend we went to Oxford for Double Decker and for some Ole Miss baseball. Due to the weather, Double Decker was cancelled on Saturday, but we still had a great day! Saturday morning we hung out on the Square. Caroline had a great time in Square Books, Jr. It is such a neat store for kids. Then we met up with some of Tripp's family who live in Oxford and went to eat lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Winnie and Granddaddy came up for the day, and Caroline was so happy to see them! Saturday afternoon Tripp, Ray, and I went to the baseball game, and Caroline played with Winnie and Jill. It was perfect weather for a baseball game. And it was so much fun to see the Rebels beat LSU! Hotty Toddy!

One Fun Saturday!

Caroline and I met Jennifer and Charlotte at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday morning for the "Tremendous Treehouses" exhibit while Tripp and Jason were golfing. Caroline had so much fun playing in the treehouses and spending time with Charlotte!

Saturday afternoon we went over to our friends house to play and eat dinner. They have 2 girls ages 4 and 20 months. The girls had so much fun playing together! They have the most fun toys, including a Barbie Jeep and a Moon Bounce!

For dessert, I made one of PW's recipes. It was a hit, especially with Shelby! She helped me top the dessert with "dirt".

The girls were ready for bed after their bath! They were pretending to go "night-night"!

Brothers and Sisters

One reason I love going to Jackson is getting to spend time with my sister, Lesley, and my two BILs, Tyler and Jeremy. We always have so much fun together. This past weekend Tripp, Tyler, and Jeremy played golf together, and we all went out to dinner on Saturday night. Then we celebrated Tyler's birthday on Sunday night. Tripp and I enjoyed hanging out with them so much!

We went to eat at an Italian restaurant called Cerami's. It was sooo good. I have always wanted to go there but never been before. If you are ever in Jackson, you need to go. You have to try the "salad wagon." Trust me on this one!

Sunday night we went to eat at Mellow Mushroom for Tyler's birthday.

Can you tell I am having a blast in this picture?

(Yes, Lesley are I are wearing the same shirt on different nights. It is actually 2 of the same shirts. What can I say, we always buy the same clothes! We're sisters still dressing alike after all these years!)

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We went to FBC Jackson with Tripp's family on Sunday morning and then spent the rest of the day visiting with our family. Caroline loved everything the Easter bunny left her in her basket.

I love Caroline's Easter dress. I wanted to get a great picture of her, but she does not stand still for long these days! Here are some of the pictures we took after church.

Easter Egg Hunt!

On Saturday Caroline had her first real Easter egg hunting experience! And she loved it! We had been practicing at home by hiding eggs around our house and in our yard so I figured Caroline would be a pretty good egg hunter. The first hunt was Saturday morning at the community park. Caroline was cheered on by Winnie, Granddaddy Dixon, Puppy, Granddaddy Smith, and Aunt Bessie!

That afternoon was the neighborhood egg hunt. Caroline was a pro by this time. She picked up the maximum of 12 eggs in about 2 minutes! She had a great time.
