Good Times with Granddaddy!

My Dad came to visit us on Thursday and Friday of this week. Caroline was so excited to see her Granddaddy! I have the best Dad ever -- he drove 10 hours round trip to spend one night with us!

He brought Caroline some presents from him and Puppy. She was excited when she opened up her Elmo mailbox. She loves all things Elmo! She also got some cute Valentines' clothes!

On Thursday afternoon, Dad and I took Caroline to the Early Works Museum. She had a great time playing in "Biscuit's Backyard".

Thank you, Dad, for coming to visit us! It definitely made our week!

Catching Up!

On January 7th and 8th, it snowed here again! This was our second snow this season! It was soooo cold, but we did take Caroline outside for a few minutes to play in the snow. We dressed her up in several layers of clothing and she wore her new rain/snow boots that Puppy gave her for Christmas.

Caroline has also been enjoying her Christmas presents. She has been wearing her new clothes and playing with her new toys!

Christmas with Puppy and Granddaddy

The day after Christmas we celebrated with Puppy, Granddaddy, Aunt Bessie, Uncle Jeremy, and Aunt Dianne. This was our last Christmas for the year! Caroline loved her Elmo medical kit from Aunt Bessie and Uncle Jeremy! (We are trying to direct her early into a medical career!) She also loved her baby and stool from Puppy and Granddaddy. Aunt Di gave Caroline a soft penguin and a animal book which she loves, too!

This is finally my last Christmas post! Tripp and I are so thankful for all of our blessings during this Christmas season. Most importantly, for Jesus Christ and our salvation through Him and for our wonderful families. Caroline is so blessed to have such loving grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning we celebrated with Winnie, Granddaddy, Uncle Tyler, and Taylor. Caroline woke up around 6:30AM and was ready to go! But we had to wait for Uncle Tyler to wake up and come over to open up our presents!!!

Caroline loves her art easel from Winnie and Granddaddy. She thought it was a neat hiding place!

That afternoon we went over to Aunt Dodo and Uncle B.G's house to celebrate Christmas with my Mom's family. This was Caroline's third Christmas and we still had one to go after this!

Our Family Christmas

We celebrated our family Christmas with just the 3 of us on Christmas Eve morning and headed to Mississippi to be with our families that afternoon. So Santa came to our house a night early! On Christmas Eve Eve, Caroline decorated cookies for Santa, drew him a picture, and left them by the tree.

On Christmas Eve morning, Caroline was so excited to see that Santa had made a stop at her house and dropped off her very own playhouse and cozy coupe! Caroline loved unwrapping the presents this year! She could not wait to tear into all of the gifts. But once she got in her playhouse she would not come out! So she had to open the rest of her gifts in her house!

We spent Christmas Eve night with the Dixon family -- Winnie, Granddaddy, Uncle Tyler, Uncle Hal, Aunt Toni, Ben, and Melissa. We had a great time visiting with our family, and Caroline just soaked up all the attention!!!

Christmas with the Elwells

The Saturday before Christmas we went to our best friends' house to celebrate Christmas. It was so much fun this year with Caroline and Charlotte! Jennifer fixed a delicious dinner and then we opened presents. The girls had a great time together!

Charlotte gave Caroline a Sit-N-Spin, which Caroline loves. Here is a picture of Caroline in action!

I also wanted to post a few pictures from church the Sunday before Christmas. I love, love, love the dress Caroline is wearing! I am hoping she can wear it again next year.

This is the first of many Christmas posts. I will be catch-up blogging this whole week!
