The Grove Bowl

Saturday we made the trip to Oxford for the spring football game and some Rebel baseball. It was a cool day, so we decided to leave Catherine at home with Puppy. We arrived in Oxford around lunch time and went to Old Venice to eat. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oxford, and it was delicious! Then we went to the Red and Blue game. We got there at halftime and watched the second half.

The wind was pretty chilly. I was glad we brought a blanket to wrap up in!



After the football game we walked over to the baseball stadium. We got to see the end of the Friday night game that got rained out in the 4th inning and the whole second game. We won both games against Arkansas! The sun came out, too, which was nice!

Before we left Oxford, we went over to Kevin and Jill's and had a good visit with them. It was a wonderful Saturday in Oxford!
