Our second day in Seaside started off with a bike ride to the Grayton Beach Starbucks. Little did I know when we started this that we would bike 4 miles round trip! (Nothing like a steaming hot cup of coffee after a long bike ride in 100 degree heat!) When we got back to Seaside, we got ready for the beach. Caroline had a great time playing in the sand. However, Tripp and I discovered that it is impossible to build a sandcastle with a 2-year old around. Everytime we would start, Caroline would knock it down! The waves were huge so Caroline had to be carried by one of us when we got in the ocean.
Saturday afternoon after Caroline's nap, we went to the paint your own pottery studio in Seaside. Caroline painted a seashell! She did a great job and really enjoyed it!
Then we went to the pool. Caroline loved jumping off the side of the pool to Tripp. She is too cute in her swimsuit and floaties!
This is one of my favorite pictures of Tripp and Caroline taken at dinner. We ate at Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar and it was delicious. I loved the atmosphere sitting outside right on the beach!
Day 3 our of trip coming soon!
