Sunshine!

It has been a beautiful weekend. The long awaited sunshine finally made an appearance! And we made the most of it at the park by our house! Caroline was so happy to run around and play outside! Seeing her at the park made me realize how much she is growing up. She no longer likes the baby bucket swings but heads straight for the regular swings. And she is fearless, wanting to climb up the stairs on the tall slide all by herself. Thankfully, she still wants Daddy to slide down it with her! We had a great Saturday afternoon outside enjoying the beautiful weather and our precious girl!

Valentine's Play Date and Party

On Thursday, I hosted a Valentine play date for Caroline and her friends. Caroline had a great time playing with everyone; however, we are still working on sharing. She did not want anyone to touch her baby dolls during the play group. At one point, she had all six of her baby dolls in a stroller and would scream "Mine!" if another person got close. I can see the beginning of the terrible twos! Despite that, I think Caroline and the other kids had a great time. And the Mommies had fun visiting with each other!

On Friday, Puppy and I took Caroline to her Valentine's party at school. Puppy had a great time seeing Caroline's classroom and meeting her teachers and friends.

Valentine's Weekend!

We had a great Valentine's weekend! I was so excited that Puppy and Granddaddy came for the weekend to keep Caroline while Tripp and I worked. They also kept her on Friday and Saturday night while Tripp and I went on two fun dates! On Friday night we went out to eat with our Sunday School class from church. We went to Connor's and had a delicious meal and a great time visiting with friends. Here are some pictures before we left the house.







Yes, Puppy, Granddaddy, and Caroline were all in Caroline's house when we left for dinner! Too funny! Needless to say, Caroline did not miss us a bit!

On Saturday night, Tripp and I went to dinner and a movie with our best friends, Jennifer and Jason. We all had so much fun! It had been a while since we had all been to the movies and we really enjoyed it.

On Sunday morning, I woke up to find some beautiful flowers and presents on the dining room table from my sweet husband! The flowers were pink Gerber daisies, my favorite! Tripp gave me a cute new purse, some earrings, and a candle. And the scent of the candle is called "High Maintenance"! What can I say, Tripp knows me well! And then at work on Sunday, I got another bouquet of flowers delivered to me! Tripp went all out this Valentine's Day, and I loved it all!



We had a such a fun weekend together, with Puppy and Granddaddy, and with our friends!

Biscuit's Backyard and Oxford!

The two fun places we took Caroline last weekend! On Saturday, Tripp and I took Caroline to the Early Works museum. Her favorite part is Biscuit's Backyard! Tripp really enjoyed the Building Blocks part as you can see below!









After church on Sunday, we drove to Oxford to watch the Ole Miss vs. Arkansas basketball game. We met Winnie and Granddaddy in Oxford and hung out at Tripp's cousins' house. We had such a fun day in Oxford visiting with family. And Caroline was so so excited to see her Winnie and Granddaddy! Caroline did great at the basketball game. She even made her first appearance on an Ole Miss jumbotron!





We enjoyed seeing our friends Coach Nutt and Eli and Abby Manning at the game, too!
