Father's Day
We had a wonderful Father's Day celebrating all the fathers in our family. After church we went to Winnie and Grandaddy's for lunch. We took some pictures before we changed out of our church clothes.
Caroline and Catherine are definitely Daddy's girls! They love him so much and want to be with him all the time. As soon as Tripp walks in the door from work, they are all about their Daddy! And he is all about his girls! When Tripp is home, he is devoted to them. He is always playing with them and loving on them. Caroline and Catherine are so blessed to have him as their Daddy!
That night we went over to Aunt Dodo and Uncle B.G.'s house for more celebrating.
Aunt Dianne came into to town for a visit. We loved seeing her so much!
Tripp and I were so blessed to grow up in homes with wonderful fathers who loved us and loved the Lord, and still do! And now they are the best Grandaddy's ever. Caroline and Catherine love their Grandaddy's so much!

Sweet Catherine
We have been enjoying Catherine so much this summer. She has such a sweet spirit, and she is a joy to be around. She has loved going to the pool this summer. I think she thinks it is a big bathtub. And she loves being around her sister all the time. She loves Caroline so much, and Caroline is such a sweet big sister.
These pictures were taken in June on her 8 month birthday.
Right before her 9 month birthday, Catherine started crawling. She is now crawling everywhere and she is very quick! She loves to crawl from her room into her sister's room and the play room. These pictures were taken in July on her 9 month birthday.
Tyler and Taylor's Wedding
At the end of May, we celebrated the marriage of Uncle Tyler and Taylor. They had a beautiful wedding at First Baptist Church and a fun reception at the Yacht Club. It was a wonderful night celebrating two special people!
Before the wedding I took a couple of pictures of the girls with the family. Catherine made an appearance just for pictures before the wedding and then went home with a babysitter.
Caroline and I after the wedding
With the beautiful bride
Caroline and Taylor after the wedding outside the church. This was Caroline's first wedding to attend, and she was so excited. She was enthralled with every aspect of the wedding. She loved getting her picture made with Taylor!
A sweet moment while they were waiting for their limo outside of the church!
Lesley and I at the reception
The reception was so much fun. Caroline loved dancing. She danced and danced until she was worn out!
We are so excited for Uncle Tyler and Aunt Taylor. Ever since the wedding, Caroline has been playing wedding almost every day. She is always the bride, of course!
Caroline's 4th Birthday!
(I have taken a blogging break over the summer and now I am catching up. I have to start all the way back in May with Caroline's birthday!)
I wanted Caroline's actual birthday to be very special since she had her party the Sunday before her birthday. She started the morning with some special birthday pancakes!
After breakfast, we got ready and went to the MS Children's Museum. Caroline was so excited to go to the museum, and Catherine was too. They both had a great time playing on the giant Scrabble board.
Caroline had fun playing dress up, too. She said she was a bride on her birthday!
Then we met Puppy for lunch at Sal & Mookies. The birthday girl enjoyed some ice cream after lunch!
Caroline's family birthday party was that night. We all met at a Mexican restaurant where Caroline requested to eat for her birthday dinner.
After dinner we came back to our house for cupcakes and presents. Caroline enjoyed opening her presents and being with her family!
Caroline loved her princess scooter from Winnie and Grandaddy. She had to try it out as soon as she opened it!
Caroline is so blessed to have such a loving family to make her birthday so special! She had a wonderful 4th birthday!

Caroline's Birthday Party
Caroline's birthday party was on the Sunday before her birthday on Wednesday. Her party was at Chuck E. Cheese's. She was so excited about her party. Last August we went to a neighbor's party at Chuck E. Cheese and ever since then Caroline has said she wanted her party there. And she did not forget! I asked her time and time again if she wanted a ballerina party, a princess party, a jump zone party, but she wanted her party at Chuck E. Cheese's! And it turned out to be such a fun party!
She loved riding this horse!
She enjoyed playing games with her Daddy!
Catherine had fun at the party, too!
Lesley and I posed for a picture with the birthday girl, but she was too busy to stop for a pic!
Excited about all the tickets she won!
The family. Uncle Jeremy and Uncle Tyler really enjoyed themselves at the party. They played and played and won a lot of tickets for Caroline. When the party was over, she had over 1,000 tickets to use for a prize. She picked a great big purple ball!
Me and the birthday girl
Enjoying their pizza
Checking out the princess birthday cake
Singing happy birthday to the birthday princess!
Getting her birthday medallion. She was so excited when she saw this medallion. Her face was priceless!
Caroline was very brave to get into the ticket blaster. She stayed in for a little while, but then got a little scared!
Caroline had such a fun birthday party. She enjoyed celebrating with her sweet friends and family. And she loved Chuck E. Cheese's. I joked with Tripp that she will want her birthday party there next year, too!
